The case of Andrew Lee Jones, a Black man wrongfully accused and sentenced to death, led to the founding of the due process group Amicus ALJ. In our third episode of Between Two Firms, DISCO’s Chief Marketing Officer Tom Furr is joined by Amicus Director Margot Ravenscroft to discuss the ripple effects a single case can create across the entire justice system.

Death penalty sentencing cases like Jones’ are incredibly complex matters with large volumes of data. Margot explains how her team of volunteer legal professionals at Amicus manages complex data types daily to uncover the underlying issues in these cases such as racial disparity and poverty.
